Golf Tournament - 2009
The 7th Annual BEC Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Scramble was held September 11th at Par 3 Golf Course and it was another rousing success.
Some vital stats include:
- 15 teams & 3 sponsors
- Low Gross Team - NorthWestern Energy - Gross Score = 26
- Low Net Team - Shankapotamus (HDR) - Net Score = 10.8
- $400 paid each to low net and low gross teams
- 8 flag prizes awarded for various long putts and shots closest to the pin
- Beautiful sunny evening
- And the best part--supporters generated $1,850 for the BEC scholarship program!
As you know, the golf scramble and annual banquet are BEC's primary scholarship fundraisers. It is only because of you that we consistently award $5,000-$6,000 annually to Billings area high school seniors entering engineering or a related technical field. A sincere thank you goes out for your continuous support of the BEC scholarship program. See you again next year!
